How to get to Dénia
Dénia is located on the Mediterranean coast (38.8388° N, 0.1051° E), Eastern Spain (Levante), in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community. Dénia can be accessed:
By Car, from Central, Northern or Southern Spain or Combined Train-Bus Service from Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona. You can get to Dénia by car through the Mediterranean Speedway AP-7 (E-15), Exit 608 and CV-725. Dénia is half way from Valencia to Alicante. By Bus, Coming from Alicante-Elche Airport.
The closest international airports are those of Alicante-Elche (104 km) and Valencia (106 km). The Alicante-Elche airport is an international airport served by direct flights of many airlines from many countries. Air fares are cheaper than other airports such as the Valencia airport, particularly during the high season in Summer and Winter. The best and cheapest way to travel to Dénia from the airport is by bus. This route is served by ALSA bus company. There is one direct bus (trip duration 1:36 hours) and many other departures from 7 am to 9 pm.

The non-direct trips have variable duration, depending on the number of stops and the time expended in a transfer at the Benidorm bus station. The typical cost for a one-way trip is around €16. The buses are comfortable usually provided with AC and toilet and storage for your bags. Seat reservations are available as well as a baggage allowance for 30 kg and a 10 kg carry on bag. ALSA also service international routes from many destinations. The ALSA bus stop in the airport is at the right end of the terminal (view from inside), exiting the Departures area (Level 2). Walking from Dénia Bus Station to Calle Loreto 29 (38.84056°N-0.10448°E). Once you arrive at the Dénia Bus Station, follow the directions below to reach Loreto 29. By Light train from Alicante/Benidorm. There is a light train service (TRAM) from Alicante (Luceros-Line 1) to Dénia (Line 9) with transfer at Benidorm (Line 1 to 9). For more information, timetables and type of tickets check here. Buy tickets at lockers and automatic machines in tram stations and platforms; press kiosks and tobacconists. Fare: €1.45 (one-way). It can take some time to complete this route due to multiple stops. Among others, it has stops at Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Altea, Calp and Benissa. The terminal station at Dénia is located close to the port area and Explanada Cervantes at Paseo del Saladar 126, Dénia (900 m, 13 min walk to the apartment at Loreto 29-3). Map here.
By Local Taxi or Airport Taxi
If you come in a local taxi, your destination would be the Bilioteca Pública Municipal (Public Municipal Library) in the corner of Calle Major and Sant Josep street, Dénia. By Sea from the Balearic Islands
There are regular ferry boats for cars and passengers servicing the ports of Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera. Arrivals and departures are from the Balearia Ferry Terminal at the port of Dénia.
